“Take advantage of every opportunity to practice your communication skills so that when important occasions arise, you will have the gift, the style, the sharpness, the clarity, and the emotions to affect other people.” - John Rohn
Emily, like you have stated, I also prefer 20 sheets instead of just five. For me, both a data sheet and a paper will probably end up taking about the same amount of time. However, because a paper is only five pages, it requires that we think so much more than when we have to with a data sheet. Also, at least when I am working on my twenty to thirty page data sheet, I feel pretty confident that I will get an A because the requirements are clearly spelled out and I know exactly what I need to do. Unfortunately, for a paper, I could be doing all this work and then end up with something much less than an A and this is probably the part that is most troublesome, at least in my opinion. A data sheet is more black and white while a paper is just one big grey abyss.
